Therapy Intensives
Deep Healing in a Focused Timeframe
For those ready to go deep, break through stuck patterns, and create meaningful change.
Have you ever felt like the therapy hour ends just as you’re starting to dive into something?
Or maybe you’ve been talking about the same issue over and over – you intellectually ‘get it,’ but you feel stuck when it comes to actually making the changes you want.
Traditional weekly therapy can be like a weekly workout – great for gradually building and maintaining health and strength. But sometimes, you need an intensive boot camp to break through plateaus and achieve your goals faster.
Traditional therapy can be:
Great for learning new skills and building healthy habits
A space for routine self-care and ongoing personal growth
A stabilizing source of support with gentle, paced processing
But sometimes, you need something more.
That’s where therapy intensives come in: focused, unhurried time to dive deep and accelerate your healing journey.
A therapy intensive is like taking a direct flight instead of a layover – you save time and energy, getting where you need to be without unnecessary delays.
Is this a good fit for you?
My therapy intensives may be a great fit if you:
✔ Have done talk therapy and are ready to go deeper and take a full-bodied approach on core issues.
✔ Prefer immersive, experiential therapy that goes beyond the traditional therapy hour to process effectively without feeling rushed.
✔ Are a high-achiever, professional, or creative with a busy schedule, seeking meaningful progress in a condensed time frame, without spending weeks or months in therapy.
An intensive may not be appropriate at this time if you:
✖ Are in a crisis situation and do not have sufficient stability to do deep work.
✖ Are seeking ongoing, regular support.
✖ Have never engaged in therapy or personal healing work before.
How intensives can be more cost-effective and time-saving than standard weekly therapy
One Intensive = Multiple Weeks or Months of Therapy
In standard weekly therapy, each 50 minute session includes time spent settling in, sharing updates, and transitioning into deeper work, often leaving only 30-40 minutes for core processing.
Additionally, staying focused on one single issue week-to-week can be challenging. Life happens, and it’s difficult to dive deep on a single topic when there’s a new issue to address each session.
With a full week between sessions, the momentum of your healing or growth can slow down. It can often take weeks or months to explore a topic in-depth and achieve a breakthrough.
In contrast, intensives allow you to dive deep without interruption, maintaining momentum and making significant progress.
Even just a single 2 hour intensive session gives you 110 minutes of quality processing time, which would take 3-4 weeks of standard sessions to achieve.
Give yourself the gift of uninterrupted time to heal and grow.

Therapy intensives fall outside the scope of traditional outpatient therapy billing and are not covered by insurance companies.
Intensive are designed for focused, deep work rather than ongoing assessment and do not include diagnostic evaluations or medical necessity documentation that are required for insurance reimbursement.
Although intensives are not covered by insurance and do not qualify for superbills, HSA/FSA accounts may cover these costs (i.e. as a qualified medical expense), depending on your policy. I can accept HSA/FSA cards, however, it is your responsibility to confirm eligibility with your account administrators before using an HSA/FSA card.

Under the law, healthcare providers, including mental health providers, must give clients who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for services called a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
You have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your scheduled service or item. You can also ask providers for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
I will always clearly inform you of service costs before our first appointment. If you have any concerns or questions related to billing, please don’t hesitate to ask.
