Standard Therapy
Making the decision to invest in therapy is a powerful step toward building lasting confidence, emotional balance, and authentic connection with yourself and others.
The first session is an initial assessment where essential information is gathered to determine the therapeutic approach that best suits your needs and goals.
We'll focus on the key issue you want help with, as well as any relevant factors like medical concerns, current stressors, and important background information that may impact our work. This helps us prioritize what’s most important to address, while ensuring your safety and well-being.
Initial Assessment
60 mins | $250
The frequency of therapy sessions varies based on individual needs and treatment goals, but weekly sessions are a common standard.
Based on a personalized plan, we will work on your presenting issue. Experiential therapy methods such as Brainspotting, drama therapy, somatic psychotherapy, and mindfulness-based techniques may be integrated alongside psychodynamic talk therapy.
The overall duration of therapy—whether short- or long-term—will depend on your unique needs and goals. To start, I like to set a short-term goal and timeframe (e.g., 8 -12 weeks) to provide focus and direction. We’ll periodically check in on your progress, and I’ll adjust my recommendations as needed.
Weekly sessions provide consistent support and foster a strong therapeutic relationship, which can be especially beneficial for long-term work. However, they may also result in slower progress and less session depth compared to more intensive approaches.
